Why it exists

Showing a website in motion is one of the best ways to present it: in a launch post, a portfolio, a client handoff or an ad. But recording one by hand is fiddly. The scroll stutters, the cursor wanders into frame, cookie banners cover the hero, and it never looks the same twice.

GlidePage does it properly. It opens the page in its own browser, captures every frame one at a time with a real easing curve, and puts it in a real device frame on the background you choose. Nothing is uploaded: the page renders on your Mac, which also means it can record localhost and staging sites.

The maker

Monish Meher is a solo founder and product engineer based in Nuremberg, Germany, working under Meher Technologies. Monish builds focused software, including GlidePage and the Redirect focus extension.
